A. Roll Call

B. Approval of Minutes of 6/I 3/95
The minutes were unanimously approved as submitted, M/S Dutro/Peck.
G Posting the Agenda
Pursuant to Government Code 94954.2, the agenda was posted on Friday, August 4.
D. Oral and Written Communications
1. Memorandum to Planning Commission regarding a plan revision to the
Hannah McCatry House project, 20600 Lomita Avenue.
After a brief discussion, the Commission accepted and filed the memo. Staff was directed to
place an item on the next agenda to consider remov~g the landmark designation on the
sl~u~re.
!1. OLD BUSINESS
A. Discussion of Agenda Items for the :Joint Meeting with the City Council.
The Commission, Secretary White and Director Cur'ds discussed various aspects of
Commission's au~ority on ministerial and discretionary projects. it was decided that the
Chairman would speak for the Commission regarding the agenda Items for the joMt meeting.
Commissioner Fine spoke regarding traffic impacts on the Heritage Lane portion of Saratoga
Avenue. Staff was directed to place an item on the agenda to discuss sendln~ a letter to the
Qty Council on this matter.
!il. NEW BUSINESS
A. Review and Discussion of the Secretary of the Intedor's Standards for
Rehabilitation.
The standards were adopted by the Heritage Commission for all new development projects
on Heritage Inventory properties, !q/S Wyman/Fine, 7-0.
IV. ITEMS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION
Commissioner Peck reported on an erroneous promotional article in the Mercury News
advertising the Greenbriar Development on Saratoga Avenue and the fact that he wrote to
the developer to dispute the article.
V. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjoumed to Tuesday, September 12 at 9 a.m..
