Routine Organization A. Roll Call Present: Dutro, Fine, Koepernik, Wyman, Peepari Absent: Cutler, Peck Guest: Mr. Robertson, Mr. Heid Staff: Secretary White B. Approval of minutes dated 10/10/95 The minutes were unanimously approved as submitted. M/S Fine/Wyman. C. Posting of the Agenda Pursuant to Government Code Section 94954.2, the agenda was posted on Friday, December 8. D. Oral and Written Communications 1. Final letter from Heritage Commission to the Public Safety Commission regarding traffic on Saratoga Avenue. The Commission directed staff to send the letter to the Public Safety Commission. II. Old Business A. Discussion of the development review process for properties listed on the Heritage Resource Inventory. After a general discussion staff was directed to obtain for Commission review copies and samples of Heritage Preservation Ordinances and General Plan Elements from other jurisdictions, additional information on how CEQA relates to historic resources, information on the Mills Act. These materials should be ready for review at the December meeting. :: B. 20600 Lomita Avenue. Review of draft letter from the Heritage Conmaission regarding landmark de-designation of the Hannah McCarty Vineyard House as a Heritage Landmark. After brief discussion staff was directed to prepare a final draft of the letter as well as the appropriate resolution for adoption bythe City Council M/S Koepernik/Wyman, 5-0. Staff indicated that this item wold probably be heard by the City Council in January. III. New Business A. AR-95-001, Robertson, 14350 Douglas Lane. Review of a proposed addition to a structure listed on the Heritage Resource Inventory. The project was unanimously recommended to be approved as submitted. M/S Fine/Dutro. IV. Items Initiated by the Commission 1. Commission Wyman recapped the success of the State Historic Preservation Workshop. 2. Commissioner Fine asked for an accounting of heritage book sales. V. Adjournment The meeting was adjourned to Tuesday, December 12 at 9 a.m..
