reviewed at the October meeting.

Pursuant to Government Code Section 94954.2, the agenda was posted on Friday, October 4.
D. Oral and Wrilten Communications
II. Old Business
A. Review and discussion of possible improvements to the Heritage Preservation Ordinance
(continued from 8/13/96 meeting).
Staft advised the Commission that department vacancies and a temporary shifting of responsibilities meant
that any staff involvement in new advance planning type projects, such as a Heritage Ordinance
amendment, would be minimal. Given these circumstances, the Commission decided to only forward the
County demolition ordinance to the City Attorney for analysis. All other ordinance improvements would be
on hold until further notice. MIS Fine/Peck 5-0.
B. Claravale Dairy. Review of Draft Support Letter.
The draft was approved with minor amendments. Staff was directed to forward the letter to the City
Manager for the Mayor's signature, M/S Fine/Peck 5-0.
III. New Business
IV. Items Initiated by the Commission
Staff was asked to inquire as to why the Heritacje Commission was not advised of the repairs and new
paint for the Warner Hutton House. Staff indicated that the Chair and Commission Peepari would be
notified.
V. Adjournment
The meeting was adjoumed to Tuesday, October 8 at 9 a.m..
