MINUTES Date: Tuesday, August 12, 1997, 9 a.m. Place: Warner Hutton House, 13777 Fruitvale Ave. Type: Regular Meeting I. Routine Organization A. Roll Call Present: Fine, King, Peck, Peepari, Wyman Absent: Dutro, Koepernick Staff: Walgren Guest: Bommarito, Pinn (Applicants - Item III.A.) B. Approval of minutes dated 718/97 The minutes were unanimously approved following corrections to the voting record (Commissioners Dutro, Fine, Peck were listed as "abstaining" throughout the minutes when they were actually not present to vote). C. Posting of the Agenda Pursuant to Government Code Section 949S4.2, the agenda was posted on Wednesday, August 7, 1997. D. Oral and Written Communications None. II. Old Business None. III. New Business A. SD-97-001, LaPaloma/Douglass, Spaich; review of a proposed 15-1ot subdivision on an 18-acre site, a portion of which is on the Heritage Resources Inventory (the Hayfield House and Caretaker/Garage buildings). The Commission heard the proposal to subdivide the property into 15 single family home sites and to retain the existing Hayfield House/Goodrich estate on an its own 3 acre parcel. The accessory Caretaker and Garage structures would be removed. The Commission voted unanimously to continue the item to the September 9, t997 meeting to allow staff to arrange a site visit and tour of the Hayfield House/Goodrich Estate. B. Walkway at Warner Hutton House. The Commission voted unanimously to support the proposal to replace the crushed granite pathway along the south elevation side entrance of the Wamer Hutton House with a sand-colored concrete walkway. The Commission further noted that they would be in support of replacing all of the site pervious pathways with a concrete walkway to make the grounds more useable in the rainy season. IV.
