I. Routine Organization
A. Roll Call

B. Approval of minutes dated I 0/14/97
The minutes were approve 5-0.
C. Posting of the Agenda
Pursuant to Government Code Section 94954.2, the agenda was posted on Wednesday,
November 26, 1997.
D. Oral and Written Communications
Mr. Dennis Burrows presented preliminary designs for Mr. And Mrs. Campbell of a
proposed garage replacement and addition to the Pollard House at 20731 Marion Road
for comments from the Commission. The Commissioners were favorable to the designs in
that they kept to the original design of the residence and incorporated architectural
details and materials found throughout the existing residence and available during the
era when the residence was constructed. When an application is formally submitted this
proposal will come back to the Commission for a formal recommendation.

III. New Business
A. Amendment to the Heritage Resources Inventory to add the property at
20271 La Paloma Avenue.
The Commission heard the proposal and supported the addition of the property to the
Heritage Resources Inventory. Approved 5-0 Fine/Koepernick.
B. Amendment to the Heritage Resources Inventory to add the site at
20591 Park Place.
The Commission heard the proposal and supported the addition of the site to the
Heritage Resource Inventory. Approved 5-0 Fine/King.
The Cornmission asked that staff prepare a similar resolution which would incorporate
all previous additions to the Inventory list. The Commission then informed staff of
typographical and factual errors of the Draft Heritage Resources Inventory list, and
directed staff to add another column to the list which references the original Inventory
list number that was assigned to each property.
Items Initiated by the Commission
A. Proposed Amendment to the Heritage Preservation Ordinance.
The Commission clarified their intent, and directed staff to amend the Heritage
Preservation Ordinance so that heritage inventory properties fall under the same
guidelines of the review process that currently applies only to historic landmark
properties and properties within a designated heritage lane or historic district.
