TIME: Tuesday, April 21, 1964 - 5:30 P. M.
PLACE: Saratoga City offices, 13777 Fruitvale Avenue, Saratoga, California
TYPE: Special 1.~eting
ORGANIZATION
Mayor Glennod called the meeting to order at 5:30 P. H. and announced that
the purpose ~f this special meeting is to canvass the vote of the April 14s
1964 General Hunicfpal Election.
A. PBLL CALL
Present: Councilmen Glennon, Drake, Hartman, Tyler
Absent: Councilman Brazil
IX CANVASS OF VOTES
A. Mayor Glennon directed the record to indicate that Cuuncflman Brazil
arrived at the meeting at this time.
B. After review of the tally sheets and Resolution No. 182, it was moved
by Councilman Tylers seconded by Councilman Brazil, and unanimously
carried to adopt Resolution No. 182, being a resolution canvassing the
vote of the April 14, 1964 General Nunicipal Election.
INSTALLATION OF ELECTED CANDIDATES
A. Hayor Glennon announced that the dected candidates TAll be installed
at the next regular meeting of May 6, 1964. Councilman Drake advised
that he will be out of the State and unable to attend the next regular
meeting so the oath of office was administered by the City Clerk and
Hr. Hanley issued a certificate of election for a full four year term
to Richard V. Drake.
B. Mayor Glennon then announced that the installation of newly elected
Ralph L. Burry will be held at the ~lay 6, 1954 meeting, as previously
scheduled.
IV AD3OUPd~MENT
It was moved by Councilman Brazil, seconded by Councilman Hartman, and
unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 6:00 P. M.
