A. ROLL CALL
Present: Councilmen Brigham, Kraus and Bridges
Absent: Councilman Diridon
B. CALL TO ORDER.
Mayor Bridges called the .meeting to order. The City CoUncil' then
adjourned to Executive SessiOn for the purpose of interviewing
City Council applicants.
C. ADJOURNM~ NT
The City Council adjourned to Executive SeSsion on Sunday,
December 8th, at 8:30 A.M.
D. RE -ADJOURNMENT
The Council re-adjourned the Adjourned Regular Meeting at
7:45P.M., Sunday, December 8, 1974.
E. APPOINTMENT OF CITY COUNCIL ,MEMBERS
Councilman Brigham moved that Mrs. Margaret Corr be appointed
to fill one of the City Council vacancies. The motion was
seconded by Councilman Kraus and approved Unanimously.
Councilman Kraus then moved that Mr. Norman .Matteoni be selected
to fill the second vacancy.. The motion was seconded by Councilman
Brigham and approved unanimously.
Each Council member expressed gratification toward the process which
had been used to select indi~Yiduals for the two vacancies. ' They
indicated that all 30 people who had filed an application had
appeared for an interview. This is' the first time the process has
been opened up and nom~nati6ns received by the public. The Council
felt the two persons selected would not only be electable, but would
be an asset tQ the City Council and provide a significant contri-
bution to the community.
F. ADJOURNMENT
It was moved by Councilman Kraus and seconded by Councilman
Brigham the meeting be adjourned. The motion was qarried.~
The meeting was adjourned' at 8:08 P.M.
