ROLL CALL Present: CoUncilmen Diridon, Brigham, Kraus and Bridges Absent: None It. PETITIONS, ORDINANCES AND FORMAL RESOLUTIONS A. RESOLUTION NO. 715 Resolution of Public Interest and Necessity The City Manager reviewed Resolution No. 715, which is a Resolution of Public Interest and Necessity pertaining to the proposed bond election. After some discussion, it was moved by Councilman Kraus and seconded by Councilman Brigham that Resolution No. 715 be adopted. The motion was carried. B. RESOLUTION NO. 716 Resolution of the City Council of the City of Saratoga Requestina the County Superintendent of Schools of Santa Clara County to Provide for the Consoli- dation of a Special Municipal Bond Election with the Governing Board Member Election for the School Districts to be Held March 4, 1975. The City Manager explained the need for Resolution No. 716, requesting the County Superintendent of Schools to provide for consolidation of a special municipal bond election with the Various school districts for March 4, 1975. It was moved by Councilman Brigham and seconded by Councilman Diridon Resolution No. 716 beadopted. The motion was carried. C. ORDINANCE NO. 51 Ordinance Calling Special Municipal Bond Election The City Manager explained that the discussion of Ordinance No. 51 was necessary as it calls for the actual municipal bond election on March 4, 1975. It was moved by Councilman Kraus and sec6nded by Councilman Brigham Ordinance No. 51 be introduced and the reading be waived. This was approved 4 to O. III. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS A. It was moved by Councilman Kraus and seconded by Councilman Brigham Special Meeting be set for Friday, December 20, 1974, at 6:00 P.M., for the pur~6s~ of swearing into office the two new City Council members. The motion was carried. IV. ADJOURNMENT The COuncil then adjourned to Executive Session to. discuss matters of potential litigation.
