II. BIDS AND CONTRACTS
A. MODIFICATION TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SARATOGA AND THE
PROPERTY OWNERS OF VILLAGE PARKING DISTRICT #2
The Acting City Manager reviewed the information that had been
received from the Bond Attorney and the request made by Security
Pacific Bank to modify the agreement. It has not been possible to
arrange a meeting among the C.ity Attorney, Bond Attorney, and the
attorney for Security Pacific Bank to iron out the differences.
Larry Tyler indicated his strong ~hterestin'all,~arti~s_-~' -
getting together to sign the agreement as soon as possible~' He
stated that the attorneys for Security Pacific Bank were willing
to fly up from Los Angeles to conclude the matter immediately.
The Public Works Director stated his concern about the need for an
official appraisal of the value of the property. It was his prior
understanding that this would not be necessary.
The City Council indicated its desire to move with all possible
haste to effectuate the agreement. It was motioned and seconded
that the matter be continued to the regular meeting on May 5, 1976,
for possible action at that time.
IV. ADJOURNMENT
There being norfurther. itmes for discussion, the City Council adjourned
the meeting at 7:50 PM.
