SARATOGA CITY COUNCIL
TIME: Tuesday, October 12, 1976 7:30 P.M.
PLACE: Crisp Conference Room, City Hall, 13777 Fruitvale Ave., Saratoga, Calif.
TYEE: Adjourned Regular Meeting
A. ROLL CALL
Present: Councilmen Kraus, Brigham, Corr, Matteoni
Absent: Mayor Bridges
Bo CONSIDERATION OF APPOINTMENT OF TWO PERSONS TO THE PARKS AND
RECREATION COMMISSION
Councilman Matteoni discussed the three top choices which he and
Councilwoman Corr agreed with as a result of their interviews with
some eight people for the Parks and Recreation Commission. There
was agreement on the top three choices, and it was generally agreed
that Mr. Gomersall and Mr. Wyand were the first two top choices,
with Neal Cabrinha being the third. It was highly recommended that
Mr. Cabrinha be considered for any future vacancies on the Parks
and Recreation Commission, as he, along with the other two persons,
had shown interest in the work of the Commission.
After further discussion, it was moved by Councilman Brigham and
seconded by Councilman Matteoni that Mr. Gomersall and Mr. Wyand
be appointed to fill the two vacancies on the Parks and Recreation
Commission. The motion carried unanimously.
Ci. ADJOURNMENT'
The Council then adjourned to an Executive Session to follow the
Committee of the Whole Meeting for the purpose of discussing a
personnel matter.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:48 P.M.
