SARATOGA CITY COUNCIL
TIME: M6nday & Tuesday, May 30 & 31, 1978, 7:00 P.M.
PLACE: Crisp Conference Room, 13777 Fruitvale Avenue, Saratoga, Calif.
TYPE: Adjourned Regular Meeting
I. ORGANIZATION
A. ROLL CALL
Present: Councilmen Kraus, Corr, Matteoni, Callon, & Kalb
Absent: None
II. INTERVIEWS FOR PLANNING COMMISSION VACANCY
The purpose of the Adjourned Regular Meeting on May 30 & 31st0
was to interview eleven applicants for the Planning Commission
vacancy.
Interviews were held each evening, starting at 7:00 P.M. in
the Crisp Conference Room.
After the interviews were completed, the Council discussed
the interviews and the various applicants which they had
considered over the two evenings.
It was finally moved by Councilman Matteoni, Seconded by
Councilwoman Corr, that Mr. Richard Siegfried be selected to
fill this vacancy subject to his filing the Statement of
Economic Interest with the City Clerk's Office.
This motion carried unanimously.
It was further directed that the Mayor send a letter to those
people who had been interviewed expressing the City Council's
appreciation for their interest in serving the Community and
taking time out for these interviews.
