ORDINANCE N0. / ~
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE CARE AND EXPENDITURES OF
MONEYS RECEIVED FROM THE STATE OF CALIFOrnIA UNDER THE
PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 5, CHAPTER l~ DIVISION l,
OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE.
The City Council of the City of Saratoga do~s ordain as
follows:
SECTION l: To comply with the provisions of Article 5~
Chapter l, of Division l, of the Streets and High-
ways Code, with particular reference to the amendments made there-
to by Chapter 642, Statutes of 19'35, there is hereby created in
the City Treasury a special fund to be knovm as the "Special Gas
Tax Street Improvement Fund."
SECTION 2: All moneys received by the City from the State of
California under .the provisions of the Streets and
Highways Code for the acquisition of real property or interest
therein o5 for the construction, maintenance or improvement of
streets or highways other than State Highways, shall be paid into
said fund.
SECTION 3: All moneys in s ai;d fund shall be expended exclusively
for the purposes authorized by, and subject to all
the provisions of Article 5~ Chapter 1~ Division 1 of the Streets
and Highways Code.
This Ordinance was regtularly introduced and after the wait-
ing time required by law was thereafter passed and adopted
