CITY OF S~R~TOG~. BY ~PE&LING SECTION 11.1.1-3
OF TIT~ 11 OF THE SANTA CL~ COUNTY ORDINANCE
TP~REiN &DO~ED BY REFEreNCE
The City Cornell of the C~ty of Saratoga does 'hereby
ordain as follmqs:
~AS it appears that the exemptions set forth in
Section 11.1.1-3 of Title 11 of the S~ta Cl~a Comty Ordin~ce
Code are in a great many respects in conttradiction with and in
conflict with the State Housing ]Act and the Earthquake Protection
.
Law of the State of California, and it appearing that building
peaits s~ould be required for a~ll buildings or structures here-
tofore included within the four exemptions of said Section~
NOW~ T~REFORE~ BE IT ORD~&I~D:
Section 1: Section 1.1 ~of Ordin~ce No. '4~ of the City
of Saratoga :is hereby amended by deleting from
Title 11~ Chapter 1~ Artfcle 1 thereof~ the section numbered
11.1.1-3~ which section ~1.1.1-3 is hereby repealed.
pection 2: This ordin~ce shall take effect thirty (30)
days after its passage ~d adoption.
This ordinance was regularly introduced ~d after the waiti~
time required by law was thereafter passed ~d adopted this 17th
day of September , 19~8 by the following vote:
