AN ORDINANCE AMENDING QRDINANCE NO. '4~A OF THE
'CITY OF SARATOGA BY MAKING CERTAIN AMENDMENTS
AND ADDITIONS TO TITLE~ 10 OF THE SANTA CLARA
COUNTY ORDINANCE CODE THEREIN ADOPTED BY REFERENCE
The City Conncil of the City o~ Saratoga does hereby
ordain as fdllows: : "
SECTION 1:
SECTION 1.1:' SeCtion 1.1 of. Ordinance N0.'4-A of the
City of Saratogais hereby amended by adding
tO Title 10; Chapter 4, Article 2 of the Santa Clara
County Ordinance Code therein adopted by reference, and
Section 10.4.2-2 therein. ~dded t~ the same by Ordinance
No. 4-A-9 of said City, the following streets as traffic
arterials:

SECTION 2: This ~rdinanc~ is'hereby declared to be an
urgency .and. m~e~ency measure, effective
.immediately upon its passage and adoption,'andenacted
for the preservation of p~blic peace, health, safety,
morals andswelfare and.ba~ed ~p~ the,facts that a traffic
~tudS~ has b~een made of ~h~ abo~e'set forth intersection
and that by reason of thezvolumeof traffic'crossing through
said intersection without the above set forth controls,
there is~a~ ihnnediate danger to vehicle drivers'and to
'pedestrians ~thout such qontrol~ at such inter~ectfon.
'If for any r~ason this ordinance does not
'qualify as an emergency o~dinance, t~e same shall be effec-
tive thirty (30) days a~r its passage and adoption.
This ordinance was reg~la~Iy introduced and after the wait-
ing time required by law was thereafter passed'and adopted this ~h
~ of Fabruary, 1959, by the. following vote':
