AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORbINANCE NO. 4-A OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
BY MAKING CERTAIN_AMENDMENTS AND ADDITIONS TO TITLE 10 OF THE
SANTA. CLARA COUNTY ORDINANCE CODE THEREIN ADOPTED-BY REFERENCE
The City 6~uncil of'th~ City of'Saratoga does hereby
ordain as follows:
SECTION l: SectiOn 1.1 of Ordinance 4-A of the City Of Saratoga
is hereby amended by adding to Section lO.1.7-1.2.1
ef Title io, Chapter l, Article 7 of the Santa Clara County
Ordinance Code therein adopted~by reference, the following des-
cribed portion of public highway in the City of Saratoga which
is hereby declared to be a congeared area and is limited to two
hour a _kin and subject t. the prohibitions set forth in

and Fourth Street, except those
portions thereof which have
previously been subjected to
greater restrictions pursuant
to Ordinance 4A-14 of the
City of Saratoga.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall become effective On and after
thirty (30) days after it's passage and adoption.
It shall ~ease to be operative six months after receipt by the
City Council of the City of Saratoga of written notice of with-
drawal of approval of the Department of Public Works'of the
State of California. In such case the City Clerk of the City
of Saratoga, immediately upon the ~ffective date of any such
revocation, shall enter upon the original copy of this ordinance
a notification of such withdrawal of approval.
SECTION ~: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or
phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held
by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such
decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining por-
tions of this ordinance. The City Council of the City of
Saratoga hereby declares that it would have passed this
ordinance and each sectien, subsection, sentence, clause
and phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one
or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses or phrases
be held invalid or unconstitdtional.
This ordinance was regularly introduced and after
the waiting ~ime required by law was thereafter passed and.
adopted this· 19th.___day of August_ , 19~9 by the
