AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4-A OF THE
CITY OF SARATOGA BY Y~ING CERTAIN AMENDMENTS
AND ADDITIONS TO TITLE 10 OF THE SANTA CLARA
COUNTY ORDINANCE CODE~THEREIN ADOPTED BY REFERENCE
The City CoUncil of the City of Saratoga does hereby ordain
follows:
SECTION 1: :
SECTION 1.1: Section 1.1 of Ordinance No. 4-A of the
City of Saratoga is hereby amended by
adding to Title 10, Chapter 4, Article 2, of the Sant~
Clara County Ordinance Code therein adopted by reference,
and Section 10.4.2-2 therein added to the same by Ordi-
nance No. 4-A-9 of said City, the following streets as
traffic afterisis:

Vehicles to Stop Location of
Traffic Arterial Before Entering From Stop Sign
Braemar Drive Crestb~ook Drive Southeast corner
of intersection
SECTION 2: This ordin~nceis hereby declared to be an
urgency and emergency measure, effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption, and enacted
for the preservation of, public peace, health, safety,
morals and welfare and based upon the facts that a traffic
study has. been made of ithe above set forth intersection
and that by reason of the volume of traffic crossing through
said intersection without the above set forth controls,
there is an immediate danger to vehicle drivers and to
pedestrians without suc.h controls at such intersection.
If for any reason this ordinance does not
qualify as an emergency ordinance, the same shall be effec-
tive thirty (30) days ~fter its passage and adoption.
This ordinance was regularly introduced and after the wait-
ing time required by law was thereafter passed and adopted this. 4th
day of NS~re[ber , 19~9, by the following vote:
