AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 4A-18 OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
REGULATING THE OPERATION, REGISTRATION, ~ICENSING, PURCHASING
AND SELLING OF BICYCLES WITHIN Tt~ CITY OF SARATOGA, BY AMENDING
SECTION 10.7.1-8 RELATIVE TO DUPLICATE ISSUES OF LICENSES
The Gity Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1: Section 10.7.1-8 of Ordinance No. 4A-18 of the City of
Saratoga is hereby amended to read as follows:
10..7.1-8: Duplicate Issues
Every license holder shall immediately notify the Sheriff's
Department of the loss, destruction or mutilation of any
license plate, seal, registration card or receipt. The
Sheriff's Department may thereupon issue duplicates thereof
at no charge. Every license holder shall return his license
plate, seal, registrationCard or receipt when the bicycle
for which they w ere issued is destroyed or damaged beyond
repair.
· SECTION 2: This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
thirty (30) days after its date of passage.
This ordinance was regularly introduced and after the waiting time!
required by law_was thereafter pasSed.and adopted this 6th day of
September , 1961, by the following vote:
AYES: Brazil, Glennon, Drake, Langwill, Hartman
