AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4-A OF THE.
CITY OF SARATOGA BY MAKING CERTAIN A~NDMENTS
TO TITLE 10 OF THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY ORDINANCE
CODE THEREIN ADOPTED BY REFERENCE.
The City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby
ordain as follows:
Section 1: Section 1L1 of Ordinance No. 4-A of
the City of Saratoga is hereby amended
by adding to Section 10.1.5-3.2 of Title 10, Chapter
1, Article V of Santa Clara County Ordinance Code
therein adopted by reference, the following desig-
nated portion of the hereinafter mentioned public
highway which is hereby declared to be a congested
area designated as a "taxi zone", and subject to the
prohibitions otherwise set forth in said Santa Clara
County Ordinance Code relating to taxi zones.

(Saratoga-Los Gatos Rpad) Los Gatos Road from a point af

the Northeast corner of the
intersection of Saratoga-Los Gatos
Road with Saratoga Circle to a

the beginning of the curve.
Section 2: Section 1.'1 of Ordinance No. 4-A of the City
of Saratoga is hereby amended by adding
1 1, Article
to Section 10.1.7-1.211 of Title O, Chapter
VII of the Santa Clara County Ordinance Code therein
adopted by reference, the following described portion of
· public highway in. theiCity of Saratoga which is hereby
declared to be a cong~sted area and is limited to two (2)
hour parking and subject to the prohibitions set forth
in Section 10.1.7-1.2. All ordinances or parts of
ordinances which have heretofore designated the follow-
ing described portion of public highwa7 as a "taxi zone",
are hereby repealed.

Section 3: This ordi~nance shall become effective on and
after thirty (30) days after its passage
and adoption. It shall cease to be operative six
months after receipt by the City Council of the
City of Saratoga of written notice of withdrawal of
approval of the Department of Public Works of the
Stateof California. z In such case the City Clerk of
the City of Saratoga immediately upon the effective
date of any such revocation, shall enter upon the
original copy of this ordinance notification of such
withdrawal of approval.
This ordinance was regularly introduced and after the
waiting time required by law was~thereafter passed and adopted
this 21st day of March ., 1962, by the following vote:
