~3 ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE FROM
~ROPERTY T~XES NECESS~RY FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE
DEPART~i~NTS OF THE CITY OF S~RATOGA FOR THE CURRENT
E~R ~ND TO P~Y ~NY BONDED OR OTBER INDEBTEDNESS
OF THE CITY~ ~ND FIXING THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE SUFFI-
CIENT TO PAY THE ESTIMATED COSTS FOR S&ID FISCAL
YEaR FOR SCL DISTRICT 1.
The City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby
ordain as follows:
SECTION h The sum of $22,252.~0 is hereby fixed as the
amount of revenue from property taxes'necessary
to support the departments of the City of Saratoga for the
current fiscal year and to pay any indebtedness of said
City.
SECTION .2~: The sum of $~,148.00 is hereby fixed as the
amount of revenue necessary to be raised to
pay the costs of "SCL District l" lighting district wit~.n
the City of Saratoga for the current fiscal year~ and all
of the lands within said~ district are hereby assessed in
said total sum~ each par~cel hereby being declared to be
benefite~ by the improvement~ of the furnishing of electric
· current ~nd the maintenance of the street lighting system
presently located in said district~ in the proportion that
the assessed valuation of its land exclusive of improvements
bears to the total assessed valuation of all the land,
exclusive of improvements~ of the entire district~ and said
assessment shall be and. is hereby prorated over all of said
parcels in direct proportion to each's assessed valuation~
exclusive of improvements.
SECTION ~: This ordinance shall become effective in~ediately
upon its passage and adoption.
The above ordina~ce was regularly introduced and was
thereafter passed and adopted ~t a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Saratoga held on the 20th day of August~
19%8~ by the following vote:
AYES: Brazil, Glennon, Jepsen, Lan~will, Rosasco
