AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE FROM PROPERTY
TAXES NECESSARY FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE DEPARTMENTS OF THE
*CITY OF SARATOGA FOR THE CURRENT YEAR AND TO PAY ANY
BONDED OR OTHER INDEBTEDNES2S CF THE CITY, AND FIXING THE
AMOUNT OF REVENUE SUFFICIENT TO PAY THE ESTIMATED COSTS
FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR FOR SCL DISTRICT 1 and AZULE LIGHTING DISTRICT.
The City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby 6rdain
as follows:
Sectional: The sum of $26,,562.00 is hereby fixed as the
amount of revenue from property taxes necessary
to support the departments .of the City of Saratoga for the
current fiscal year and to pay any indebtedness of said
city.
Section 2: The sum of $2,~40.22 is hereby fixed as the
amount of revenue necessary to be raised to pay
the cost of "SCL District !" lighting district within the
City of Saratoga for the current fiscal year and all of the
lands 'ei~ldsive.ldf~impr6vements within said district are
hereby assessed in said total sum, each parcel hereby being
declared to be benefited by the improvement of the furnishing
of electric current and the maintenance of the street lighting
system presently .located i6 said district, in the proportion
that the assessed valuation.of'its land ~xclU~fv~ of improvements
bears to the total assessed valuation of all the land, exclusive
of improvements, of the entire district, and said assessment
shall be and is hereby prorated over all of said parcels in
direct proportion to each's 'assessed valuation, exclusive of
improvements.
Seqtion 3: The sum of $]~,~53.24 is hereby fixed as 'the amount
of revenu~ necessary to be raised to pay the cost
of "Azule Lighting District" within the City of Saratoga for
the.current fiscal year,'a~d"all.of the'land exclusive of im-
provements within said district are hereby assessed in'said
total sum, each ~arcel~hereby b~ing declared to be benefited
by the improvement of therfurnishing of electric current and
the maintenance' of the .street ~lighting system presently located
in said district, in the proportion that the assessed valuation
of its land exclusive of i~provements bears to the total
assessed valuation of all the taDd', exclusive of improvements,
of the entire district, and saidlassessment shall be and is
hereby rorated over all of said parcels in direct proportion
to each~s assessed valuati6n, exclusive of improvements.
Section 4: This ordinance'sh~all beCome'effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
The above ordinance was regularly introduced and Was there-
after passed and adopted at a re~ula~ meeting of the City ~ouncil
