AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE FROM PROPERTY TAXES
NECESSARY FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF
SARATOGA FOR TH~ CURRENT YEAR AND TO PAY ANY BONDED OR OTHER
INDRETEDNESS OF lltE CITY, AND FIXING TH~ AMOUNT OF REVENUE
SUFFICIENT TO PAY THE ESTIt4ATED COSTS FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR
FOR SCL DISTRICT 1 AND AZULE LIGHTING DISTRICT.
The City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby ordain as
fol lows:
SECTION h The stun of $39,700.00 is hereby fixed as the amount of revenue
from property taxes necessary to support the departments
of the City of Saratoga for the current fiscal year and to pay any
indebtedness of said city.
SECTION 2: The sum of $3,157.00 is hereby fixed as the mount of revenue
necessary to be raised to pay 'the cost of 'SCL District
lightin~ district within the City of Saratoga for the current fiscal
year and all of the lands exclusive of improvements within said district
are hereby assessed in said total sum, each parcel hereby bein~ declared
to be benefited by the improvement of the furnishing of electric current
and the maintenance of the street lighting system presently located in
said district, in the proportion that the assessed valuation of its land
exclusive of improvements bears to the total assessed valuation of all the
land, axclustve of improvements, of the entire district, and said assess-
ment shall be and is hereby prorated over all of said parcels in direct
proportion to sachis assessed valuation~ exclusive of improvements.
SECTION 3: The sum of $820.00 is hereby fixed as the amount of revenue
necessary to be raised to pay the cost of 'Azule Lightin8
District" within the City of Saratoga~ for the current fiscal year, and
all of the land exclusive of improvements within said district are hereby
assessed in said total sum, each parcel hereby bein8 declared to be hens-
fired by the improvement of the furnishin~ of electric current and
the maintenance of the street lt4~hting system presently located in said
district~ in the proportion that the assessed valualtion of its land
exclusive of improvements bears to the total assessed valuation of a!l
the land, exclusive of improvements, of the entire district~ and said
assessment shall be and is hereby prorated over all of said parcels in
direct proportion to each's assessed valuatlOn~ exclusive of improvements.
SECTION 4: This ordinance shall became effective immediately upon its passage and adoptia~i.
