AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE FROM PROPERTY TAXES
.NECESSARY FOR THE SUPPORT OF TIlE DEPARTMENTS O? TIlE CITY OF
SARATOGA FOR THE CURRENT YEAR AND TO PAY ANY BONDED OR OT}TER
INDEBTEDNESS OF TNE CITY, AND FIXING TIlE AMOUNT OF REVENUE
SUFFICIENT TO PAY THE ESTIMATED COSTS FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR
FOR SCL DISTRICT 1 AND AZULE LIGHTING DISTRICT.
The City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1: ~he sum of $40,750.00 is hereby fixed as the amount of revenue
from property taxes necessary to support the departments of the
City of SaratoEa for the current fiscal year and to pay any indebtedness of
said city.
SECTION 2: The sum of $3,040.00 is hereby fixed as the amount of revenue
necessaIy to be raised to pay the cost of nSCL District 1"
lighting district within the City of Saratoga for the current fiscal year and
all of the lands exclusive of improvements within said district are hereby
assessed in said total sum, each parcel hereby being declared to be benefited
by the improvement of the furnishing of electric current and the maintenance
of the street lighting system presently located in said district, in the
proportion that the assessed valuation of its land exclusive of improvements
bears to the total assessed valuation of all the land, exclusive of improve-
meuts~ of the entire district, and said assessment shall be and is hereby
probated over all.of said parcels in direct proportion to each~s assessed
valuation, exclusive Of improvements.
SECTIO~ j: The sum of $790.00 is hereby fixed as the amount of revenue
necessary to be raised to pay the cost of "Azule Lighting District"
within the City of Saratoga'for the current fiscal year, and all of the land
exclusive of improvements ~ithin said district are hereby assessed iu said
total sum, each parcel hereby being declared to be benefited by the improvement
of the furnishing of electric current and the maintenance of the street lighting
system presently located in said district, in the proportion that the assessed
valuation of its land exclusive of improvements bears to the total assessed
valuation of all the land, exclusive of improvements, of the entire district,
and said assessment shall be and is hereby prorated over all of said parcels
in direct proportion to each's assessed valuation, exclusive of improvements.
SECTION 4: This ordinance shall become effective iEmnediately upon its passage and adoption.
The above ordinance ~as regularly introduced and ~as thereafter
passed and adopted at a regular meeting Of the City Council of the City of
Saratoga held on the 21st .day of August , 1963, by the ~ollo~in~
