ORDIN.&NCE CREATING DERART~NT OF PUBLIC WORKS
OF T_HE CITY OF SA~RATOGA AND ESTABLISHING THE
DUTIES ~ND COMPENSATION THEREFOR.
The City Council of the Ciity of Saratoga does hereby
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: There is hereby created a Department
of Public Works of the City of Saratoga,
which department shall b~ under the supervision and
control of a director who shall be a licensed civil
engineer. Said director shall be appointed by the
City Cotmcil and the duties of said Department of
Public Works and of said.director~ the term of appoint-
ment and compensation shall be as set forth by Resolu-
tion and contract by the City of Saratoga.
This Ordinance was regularly introduced and afte~ the
waiting time required by law wasi thereafter passed and adopted
this 2nd day of A1bril , 1958.
