HomeMy WebLinkAbout71.64 ORDINANCE NO. 71.6~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA AMENDING SECTION 7-20.190 OF THE CITY CODE CONCERNING BARKING DOC~ The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby ordains as follows: SECTION 1: Section 7-20.190 in Article 7-20 of the City Code is amended to read as follows: ~ "57-20.190 Barking dogs It shah be unlawful for any person to harbor, keep or maintain any dog in the City which barks or howls for a period of ten successive minutes or more during any time of the day. Any such dog is hereby declared to be a public nuisance." SECTION 2: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance is for any reason held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance. The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby declares that it would have passed this Ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, clause and phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses or phrases may be held invalid or unconstitutional. SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty days after its passage and adoption.
