AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA AMENDING
SECTION 9-15.100 OF THE CITY CODE CONCERNING
PASSENGER LOADING ZONES
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby ordains as follows:
SECTION h Paragraph (e) of Section 9-15.100 in Article 9-15 of the City Code
is amended to read as follows:
"(e) Additional designation. The following described portion of Big Basin Way
is declared to be a congested area designated as a passenger loading zone and
subject to the restrictions of this Section during the effective hours of 6:00 P.M. to
Midnight:
On the northwesterly side from approximately 80 feet
southwesterly of the centerline of Fourth Street to
approximately 124 feet southwesterly of said centerline of
Fourth Street."
SECTION 2: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this
Ordinance is for any reason held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or
· unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions
of this Ordinance. The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby declares that it
would have passed this Ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, clause and
phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that one or more sections, subsections,
sentences, clauses or phrases may be held invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty days after its
passage and adoption.
The above and foregoing Ordinance was regularly introduced and after the
waiting time required by law, was thereafter passed and adopted at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga held on the 16th day of
3anuary , 1991, by the following vote:
AYES: Council members C1 evenger, Kohl er, Mon i a and Mayor Stutzman
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmember Anderson
