AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA AMENDING
SECTION 9-15.100(D) OF THE SARATOGA CITY CODE,
DELETING A PASSENGER LOADING ZONE ON OAK STREET
The City CoUncil of the City of Saratoga does hereby ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1~ The following described street and area thereof,
shall no longer be declared to be a congested area designated as a
passenger loading zone: Section 9-15.100(d) of the Saratoga City
code is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the following as a
passenger loading zone:

Oak Street Oak Street Southeast side, from-a point
6 feet northeast of the intersection of
the northwest extension of the north-
east curbline of Kumina Avenue with the
southeast curbline of Oak Street, to a
point 204 feet northeast of that inter-
section.
SECTION 2: Passage of this ordinance does hereby rescind any
previously adopted ordinance or resolution regulating parking in
the above described area.
SECTION 3: If any section, sub-section, sentence, clause or
phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held by a court of
competent jursisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance.
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby declares that it
would have passed this ordinance and each section, sub-section,
sentence, clause and phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that
any one or more sections, sub-sections, sentences, clauses or
phrases be held invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 4; Th~s ordinance shall bein full force'an~ effect
thirty (30) days after date of its passage and adoption.
The above and foregoing ordinance was regularly introduced
and after the waiting time required by law, was thereafter passed
and adopted this 18th day of November , 19 92 by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Burger, Kohler, Monia, Tucker and Mayor Anderson
