ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SARATOGA ADDING SECTION 6-15.070
AND SECTION 11-05.070(C) TO, AND
AMENDING SECTION 11-05.010(C) OF THE
SARATOGA MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO
ENFORCEMENT OF NON-POINT SOURCE PROGRAM
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby ordains as
follows:
Section 1. Section 6-15.085 is hereby added to the
Saratoga City Code to read as follows:
"6-15.085 Enforcement of 6-15.070 and 6-15.080.
It shall be the duty of the Director of Public Works to
enforce the provisions of sections 6-15.070 and 6-
15.080 of this Article 6-15. In the performance of
such duty, the Director of Public Works or his duly
authorized agents are empowered to enter and inspect
any premises where the Director of Public Works has
reason to believe a violation of either section may
exist."
Section 2. Section 11-05.070(c) is hereby added to the
Saratoga City Code to read as follows:
"(c) In the performance of his responsibilities under
this article, the Director of Parks or his duly
authorized agents are empowered to enter and inspect
any premises where the Director of Parks has reason to
believe a violation of this article may exist."
Section 3. Section 11-05.010 (c) of the Saratoga City
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(c) Director of Parks, hereinafter in this
Chapter referred to as "Director", means that
person having authority over all parks within
the City, and to whom is delegated the
primary authority, responsibility and
jurisdiction to administer and enforce the
provisions of this Chapter. The Director of
Public Works shall serve as the Director of
Parks, or such other person as may be
designated by the City Manager."

Section 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
thirty (30) days after its passage and adoption.
The above and foregoing Ordinance was regularly
introduced and after the waiting time required by law, was
thereafter passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City
Council of Saratoga held on the '7th day of September ,
1994, by the following vote.
AYES: Councilmembers Jacobs, Moran, Tucker, Wolfe and Mayor Burger
