AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN~TOGA AMENDING
ORDINANCE NS-3, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, BY ELIM-
INATING LODGING HOUSES AS CONDITIONAL USES IN
R-1 ZONES, AND AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS RE-
LATING TO OFF-STREET PARKING FACILITIES.
The City Council of the City of Ssratoga does hereby
ordain as follows:
Section 1: Subsection (c) of Section 3.3 of Ordi-
nance NS-3 is hereby repealed. It is
the intention hereby to eliminate lodging houses as a condition-
al use in R-1 one-family residential districts,
Section 2: If any section, subjection, sentence,
clause or phFase of this ordinance is
for any reason held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be
invalid, such de~ision shall not affect the validity of the re-
maining portions of this ordinance. ~e City Council of the C~ty
of Saratoga hereby declares that it would have passed this ordi-
nance and each section, subjection, sentence, clause and phrase.

subsections, sentences, clauses or phrases be held invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect and
be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days from the date of its passage and adoption.
The above and foregoing ordinance, after public hearing
held thereon by the Planning Commission of the City of Saratoga on
the 24th day of August, 1970, was thereafter introduced and a public
hearing held thereon by the City Council of said City on the 21st day
of October, 1970, and was thereafter p~ssed and adbpted this 18th day of
November, 1970~ by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Robbibs, Bridges, Sanders, Smith, Dwyer
NOES: None
