AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA AMENDING ORDINANCE
NS-3, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, BY MODIFYING CERTAIN OFF-
STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR OFFICES
The City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby ordain as
follows:
Section 1: SubSsection (j) of Section 11.2 of Ordinance NS-3,
which section relates to off-street parking space
requirements for offices, business, administrative, and technical services,
is hereby amended to read as follows:
j. OFFICES, Business, AdminiStrative, and Technical Services
(including but not limited to accountants, architects,
attorneys, engineers, insurance, real estate and other
comparable professions) - One space for each 400-square
feet of gross floor area, or one space for each separate
tenant (business establishment) in the structure of structures,
whichever is greater.
Section 2: If any section, subsection, sehtence, clause or
phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held
by a court of competent jurisdiction to Be invalid, such decision shall
not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The
City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby declares that it would have
passed this ordinance and each section, sub-section, sentence, ct~use and
phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections,
sub-sections, sentences, clauses or phrases be held invalid or unconsti-
tutional.
Section 3: This ordinance is [o take effect and be in full
force and effect thirty (30) days from the date
of its passage and adoption.
The above and foregoing ordinance, afterFpublic hearing held
thereon by the Planning Commission of the. City of Saratoga on the 24th
day of May~ 1971, was thereafter introduced and public hearing held
thereon by the City Qouncil of said City on the 7th day of July~ 1971,
and was thereafter passed and adopted this 6th day of October~ 1971,
by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Robbins, Smith, Bridges
NOES: None
ABSENT Councilman Dwyer _~ ~j ~
