An Ordinance of the City of Saratoga amending Section 7. ?-Co)(1) and
Section 7.2(c) of NS-3 by deleting real estate offices and financial institutions
(to include banks, savings and loans) from "C-C" and "C-IP' Districts as an allowed
use, and allowing said uses in a "C-C" and "C-W' District as a conditional use,
subject to the provisions of Article 16 of the Saratoga Municfpal Cede.
WHt~, the City Council of the City of Saratoga recommends that the
Zoning Ordinance of this City be amended in "C-C" and "C-Ira zoning districts to
limit or substantially restrict the cun,nercial uses to those of retail sales and
services, and that real estate offices, banks and other. financial institutions
be deleted as an allowed use and permitted only with a conditional use permit,
and
LOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby ordain
as follows:
Section 1: Section 7.2 Co) (1) a~d Section 7.2 (c) of Ordinance NS-3 ~re each

proVisions_Of Article 16 of NS-3, and
Section 3: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this
Ordinance is for any reason held by a court of competent jurisdiciton to be invalid,
such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this
Ordinance. The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby declares that it would
have passed this Ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, clause and
phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections,
sentences, clauses or phrases be held invalid or unconstitutional.
THE ABOVB AND FORBGOING ORDINANCE, after hearing held thereon before the
Planning Commission of this City on the 10th day of May, 1978, was thereafter
introduced and a public hearing held' thereon before the City Council of this City
on the 2f~; day of ... ;-~3~ .... , 1978, and was thereafter passed and adopted
at a regular~ meeting of said City Council held on the 5th day Of J~ly ,
