AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE-NS-3, THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA?
BY AMENDING THE DEFINITION' OF "SITE AREA'
The'City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby
ordains as follOWs:
· section f: There ishereby added to'said Section tt.
of Section 1.5 of Ordinance NS-3, defin-
ing "SITE ARE~", the following paragraph:
"Anything_to the Contrary here~nabove n~twith-
-standing, in R1-20,000 and R1-40,000 zoning
districts,'the site area shall not be reduced
by any easements to the Santa Clara county
Flood Control and Water Conservation DistrictS"
Sect{on 2: If any'seCtion, subsection, sentence,
clause or phrase' of this ordinance is
for any reason held by a court ofcompetent jurisdic-
tion'to be invalid, such decision shall not affect
the validity Df the remaining provisions of this
ordinance. The,City Council Of Saratoga hereby
declares that itswould have'passed this ordinance..
and each section, ~ubSe~tion,. sentence, clause.~nd
phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that any
one or moze sections, Subsections, sentences, clauses
or phrases be held invalid or unconstitutional.
The above and foregoing ordinance was regularly
introduced on the 3rd=day of : March , 1965, and after
the waiting time 'required by law was thereafter passed and
adopted thisl7th day of March ~,-1965, by the following
vote:
