ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SARATOGA REZONING CERTAIN TERRITORY
WITHIN THE CITY OF SARATOGA FOR TWO PARCELS
IDENTIFIED AS APN 503-49-041 AND 503-49-042
ZC-94-002; TRINITY DEVELOPMENT COMPANY;
20851 SARATOGA HILLS ROAD
The City Coundl of the City of Saratoga hereby ordains that portions of
certain real property referred to as APN 503-49-041 and 503-49-042, as shown on
Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, are to be rezoned
from an Agricultural designation to an R-1-12,500 and R-I-40,000 Single Family
Residential designation.
The reasons for such .rezoning are as follows:
1. The proposed zoning amendment is consistent with the goals, polldes
and objectives of the City's General Plan and Area B Plan Guidelines.
2. The proposed zoning amendment is consistent with the existing zoning
districts and development in the vidnity.
If any section, subsection, sentence, dause or phrase of this Ordinance is for
any reason held by a coturt of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or uncon-
stitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this
Ordinance. The City Coundl of the City of Saratoga hereby dedares that it would
have passed this Ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, dause and phrase
thereof, irrespective of the fact that one or more sections, subsections, sentences,
dauses or phrases may be held invalid or unconstitutional.
This Ordinance shall be in M1 force and effect thirty (30) days after its passage
and adoption.
The above and foregoing Ordinance was regularly introduced and after
the waiting time required by law, was thereafter passed and adopted at a regular
meeting of the City Coundl of Saratoga hdd on the 21 day of Pebruarlz , 1996, by
the following vote.
