The City Council of the City of Saratoga '~ea hereby ordain as

Secti.on 2: A new section of I1.1.~-i.12 is hereby added to - ..
the Santa Clara County Ordinance Code, adopted
by reference in Section 2 of Ordinance NS-~-i, to read as follows:
11.1.4-1.12 PERMIT FEES: Each applicant sh~ll pay
to' the Depaxtment for each permit issued,
and at the time of issuance, a fee in accordance'with
such schedule of fees as is adopted by the City Council
for the City of Saratoga by resolution, and the City
Council shall by resolution adopt, from.time to time,
a schedule of such electrical permit fees and establish
thereby the rates and classifications thereof.
Section 3: If any section, subjection, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance is for any reason held by a court of
competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such decision shall not affect
the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The City
Council of the City of Saratoga hereby declares that it would have
passed this ordinance and-each section, subsection, sentence,.clause
and phrase hereof, irrespective of the fact that nay one or mere
sectionS, subsectignS, sentences, clauses or phrases be held invalid
or unconstitutional.
The above and foregoing ordinance was regularly introduced and
after the waiting time required by law was thereafter passed and adopted
at a regular meeting of the City, Council' of t~e Cify of.Saratoga on the
6th'. d~y of ~Ovem~er , 1963, by'the following vote:
