SUBJECT: Execution of Amended Joint Powers Agreement between City of
Saratoga and Intergovernmental Employee Relations Service
Summary:
Saratoga is one of 24 local agencies belonging to the Intergovernment Employee
Relations Service. The service acts as a clearinghouse to memberr agencies to
provide information, research and assistance as requested in employee relations
activities. In December, 1985, the Executive Board (consitingof a representative
from each member agency) discussed and approved revisions to the current
Joint Powers Agreement. These revisions are largely to update and clarify the
language of the agreement, and are not substantive changes.
