RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A 25 MPH
SPEED LIMIT ON SOBEY ROAD
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves as follows:
I. Based upon an engineering and traffic study, the following speed limit
restriction shall be designated on Sobey Road in the location specified below:
NAME OF LOCATION RESTRICTION
STREET
Sobey Road Starting at the northern end 25 MPH speed limit
of Sobey Road and Quito
Road and traveling west on
Sobey Road and ending at
the intersection of Sobey
Road where it meets Ten
Acres Road.
II. All prior resolutions and other enactments imposing a speed limit restriction at
the location specified above are hereby repealed to the extent of their
inconsistency with the restriction specified above.
III. This resolution shall become effective at such time as the signs and /or
markings are installed.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Saratoga at a regular meeting held on the 20 day of April, 2011, by the following
vote:
AYES: Councilmember Manny Cappello, Emily Lo, Jill Hunter,
Vice Mayor Chuck Page, Mayor Howard Miller
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: None
