SUB,7ECT: Approval of Plans for Handicapped Accessibility Improvements to Government Buildings
Issue Summary
The Council'has allocated HCDA monies to be spent during the current fiscal year for the purpose
of accessibility improvements to .government buildings. Staff committed to Council review
of the architectural drawings when they were completed. Transmitted herewith for that purpose
are those plans. Pending favorable Council review, we will put the.project.out to bid. The
plans have been reviewed by the Saratoga Access Group as well as .Civic Theater user groups.
Theyfind the plans acceptable.
Recommendation
Approve plans as presented.
Fiscal Impacts
$2Q',433 was originally allocated for the project. Subsequent to.payment for architectural
services, the sum of $17,013: remains.
