This pioneer cottage is a small one -story gabled roof structure. It
has original double hung windows, wide ship lap siding, and original,
narrow overhanging eaves. Shutters are on the front windows. There are
no major alterations to the building.

This house originally belonged to Mrs. Grover and is one of the smallest
single family cottages remaining in the Village commercial core. Mrs.
Grover was active in community and church activities in early Saratoga, and
lived in this house with her unmarried son, Henry.
