DESCRIPTION:

7b. Briefly describe the present physical appearance of the site or
structure and describe any major alterations from its original
condition:
This is a one - story, free - standing, square house with shiplap wood
siding. It stands on a wood pier foundation with walk -in fruit cellar.
The composition roof is a hipped medium gable with attic & features a
monumental pediment /gable over what may have been the original entrance.
Roof and window plain wood trim. Windows are non -flat aluminum with
plain molding and plain slipsill bottoms. They are three sashes divided
vertically with casement openings. They replaced original tan double
hung windows. There is a balls round vent in the front gable. The
front door is off center, plain wood, with a modern wood awning and
missing porch stairs. There is a porch, recently closed in, on two
sides of the house resting on a concrete foundation, original barn and
three additional newer outbuildings. Site sits on 10 acres of vineyard
and open space.
