TRAFFIC SAFETY COMMISSION
REGULAR MEETING

Call to Order
Present: Chen, Harris Kane,
Absent: Cosyn, Guichard, Musselman, Vita
Staff: Cabute, Cherbone
- No quorum.
Report on Posting of the Agenda: Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2, the agenda
for this meeting was properly posted on December 18, 2014
Accept Agenda Items: No additional items may be added pursuant to Government Code
Section 54954.2.
Oral & Written Communication
Any member of the public may address the Commission about any matter not on the agenda
for this meeting for up to three minutes. Commissioners may not comment on the matter
but may choose to place the topic on a future agenda.
Approval of Draft Minutes
November 13, 2014
Sheriff’s Report to the Commission
- Commissioners heard traffic report from the Sheriff.

New Business
1. Traffic Matrix #336
Issue: Request for stop sign at the corner of Hammons and Thelma by William Si
Action: TSC will review traffic calming plan developed by the traffic engineer and make a
recommendation.
- Traffic Engineer provided a recommendation to install a stop sign at the intersection.
The Commissioners who were in attendance concurred. No direction was given and this
item will be reviewed again at the March 12, 2015 TSC regular meeting.
2. Traffic Matrix #337
Issue: Request for traffic calming remedies on Brookglen Drive by Sankaran Suresh
Action: TSC will review traffic calming plan developed by the traffic engineer and make a
recommendation.
- Traffic Engineer provided a recommendation to consider installing more bots dots on the
“S” curve of that location, and possibly a shoulder stripe along the side of the street. The
Commissioners who were in attendance concurred. No direction was given and this item
will be reviewed again at the March 12, 2015 TSC regular meeting.
3. Issue: The City Council has asked the Traffic Safety Commission to attend the Council
Retreat meeting on January 23rd and would like to discuss Commission goals for 2015.
Action: TSC to discuss Commission goals prepare a list of goals for City Council Retreat
meeting.
- TSC discussed their goals for 2015.
4. Staff report/ status updates.
- No report/update.
