This single story cottage is characterized by a hipped roof of
composition shingles, clapboard walls, and a small porch with simple
posts. Windows (not original) are multi - paned. A single story
extension to the rear features a decked roof. Small additions to the
house to the east and west compliment the original design. A small
garage is on the south corner of the property, some distance from the
house. Two large oaks are on the eastern portion of the property. A
white picket fence and gate extend along the Oak Street frontage.

The original owner of this house is not definitely known. An early
owner of the property was Julia McLean who sold it to E.M. Goss in
1905. Later owners were Roy T. and Mary F. Caldwell who sold the
property to Cecil and Madeleine Lyle in 1944, and Elaine Miletich who
sold it to the present owner in 1975.
