I. Organization
Attendees:
Logan Deimler, Chair
Denise Goldberg, Commissioner

II. Administration
Minutes from July 20th meeting approved.
III. Public Communications
The meeting was briefly attended by Boy Scout Doug Hutchings, who was there to get information on the
volunteer activities concerning trail monitoring.
IV. Old Business
A. Trail maintenance – The Subcommittee reviewed the Trails Action Matrix. Notes will be forwarded to
Anne for the Matrix’s revision. Bill noted that trees appear to have been planted on the easement for
Segment 13; the City will be notified.
B. Trail mapping – Denise walked Segment 1 with the GPS.
C. Trail Volunteers program – Denise currently has three Boy Scouts on active trail monitoring duty,
with two more waiting for assignments.
V. New Business
None.
VI. Reports
A. Garrod/Cocciardi Trail Status – Jan Garrod still needs to talk with Tony Cocciardi concerning the trail.
B. Ho Property Trail Status – Improvements being required by the Water Co. may be delaying
finalization of the development of this property.
C. House Property Trail Status – Bill was informed that House has given up on requesting
abandonment of the City road (which was tied to the trails improvements). It was reported that House
has completed foundations on two homes on top of the hill.
D. Subcommittee Member Reports – Bill reported that plans are under review for property
improvements on the old DiAngelo property along Mt. Eden Rd. This property includes an active,
undedicated trail, which connects trails on the Paboojian property with the Ho property. This is shown as
Segment 48 in the Master Plan. While all of these properties are currently within County purview, the City
will be notified of the Subcommittee’s desire to secure easements on these properties.
VII. Action Items
0720-01: Revise format of Trails Action Matrix.

0720-02: Provide copies of Teri Baron’s trail reports.
