MINUTES

I. ROUTINE ORGANIZATION
A. Roll Call
Committee members present: R. S. Robinson and Commissioner Laden
Staff members present: K. Kerdus, D. Trinidad and R. Harison
B. Minutes
It was moved and seconded to waive the reading of the minutes of
May 21, 1981 and approve as distributed. The motion was carried
unanimously.
II. MISCELLANEOUS
A. William Veerman, 14178 Palomino Way, Site Development Plan,
Modification for a Swimming Pool, Continued from May 21, 1981
Staff explained that this was the pool on Palomino, adjacent and
above the one they visited, which the Land Development Committee
had previously denied without prejudice for lack of geotechnical
information. At this time the soil and geology report had been
submitted and Staff was ready to recommend approval. At their
last meeting, the height of the walls and decks had been dis-
cussed. The decking was then discussed at length. Staff
explained that it would be difficult to see the house from Pierce
Road but that a portion of the pool might be visible. It was
determined that the decking of the proposed pool needed to be
limited to within 6" above grade by the Zoning Ordinance within
setback areas. Commissioner Laden asked that this be so marked
on the plans. She also requested that the engineer sign off on
the blueprinted plans as well as the standard smaller sheets.
Mr. Robinson conditioned that the lower end of the pool be
screened with landscaping.
It was moved and seconded to approve the modification, as con-
ditioned. The motion was carried unanimously.
III. ADJOURNMENT
It was moved and seconded to adjourn the meeting. The motion was
carried unanimously.
