TYPE: Hearing Before Planning Director Relative to Ordinance NS- 3.ZC -73.
(Two -Story Conversion)
I. ROUTINE ORGANIZATION
The meeting was called to order by Associate Planner at 3:00 P.M.
A. ROLL CALL.
Present: Marty VanDuyn, Planning Director;•Charles R. Rowe, Associate Planner;
Donald R. Burt, Planner I; Nancy Marek, Recording Secretary.
Mr, Stowe reviewed the intent and purpose.of the Two -Story Ordinance NS- 3,ZC ^73
And mentioned that Notices were duly sent to press and surrounding neighbors.
II, PUBLIC HEARINGS
A, UP 7,244 -- Richard A., KAra.sik, Saratoga, Vista Avenue - Request to Permit a Two-
Story Expansion .....
Associate Planner asked Planner I if the basics of the Code (as to height, coverage,
rear and sideyard setbacks) had been met.. Planner replied "yes "'.
Associate Planner�if there,were any other 2 -story houses contiguous. Planner replied
..no..
Don Gerber, representative for the applicant, stated the expansion wouldri'.t impact
on surrounding neighbors or invade privacy, since there are no windows facing side-
yards..
There was no correspondence opposing this matter; a telephone call was received from
Mr. John Campbell, a neighbor, who .stated he was in approval of the expansion.
Mrs. Oliver came to the hearing and was fully in favor.
Associate Planner granted the Request to Permit a Two -Story Conversion,- -UP -244, on
the basis of Exhibit "A", the Staff Report dated June 26, 1974 and providing there
is no objection from the public during the 10 -day appeal time, as required by law.
III. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was closed at 3:10 P.M.
