I. ROUTINE ORGANIZATION
A. Roll Call

B. Minutes
It was moved and seconded to waive the reading of the minutes of
July 26, 1979 and approve as distributed. The motion was carried
unanimously.
It was moved and seconded to waive the reading of the minutes of
August 2, 1979 and approve as distributed. The motion was carried,
with Commissioner Laden abstaining since she was not present at
the meeting.
II. SINGLE SITE APPROVAL PER ORDINANCE NO. 60.05
A. SDR -1434 - Charles Laughlin, 13837 Saratoga Avenue, Tentative
Building Site Approval 1 Lot
The applicant was present for this discussion, which involved the
access proposed for the lot. The Committee noted that the con-
ditions precluded access to Saratoga Avenue; therefore, prior to
Final Approval, proof of access to Baroni Court (and drainage
rights) would have to be provided. The Planning Director requested
that the existing structuresbe removed as soon as possible because
of their hazardous condition. The applicant requested clarifica-
tion of the condition to construct an access road and it was explained
that the condition referred to Baroni Court. The Committee indicated
that,if the applicant could not acquire access to Baroni Court, he
would need to request a modification from the LDC. It was moved and
seconded to grant building site approval to SDR -1434 per the Staff
Report dated July 27, 1979 and Exhibit "B ". The motion was carried
unanimously.
B. SDR -1435 - Lloyd Paradise, Mendelsohn Lane, Tentative.Building Site
Approval - 1 lot
Mr. Cobb, the applicant's architect, was present for this discussion.
The Committee reviewed the proposed grading, pool drainage, street
improvements and utility pole location of the site. Mr. Cobb ques-
tioned Staff on park and recreation fees and the conditioned erosion
control measures. The fee method was explained to the architect
and the possible erosion control measures were discussed. It was
moved and seconded to approve SDR -1435 per the Staff Report dated
August 14, 1979 and Exhibit "B" dated August 7, 1979. The motion
was carried unanimously.
III. BUILDING SITES /SUBDIVISIONS
A. SDR -1426 - Parnas Corporation, Pierce Road, Tentative Building Site
Approval - 3 Lots
It was directed that this item be continued to the September 6, 1979
meeting.
B. SDR -1413 - Mr. and Mrs. Perry West, Via Regina, Tentative Building
Site Approval 1 Lot
It was directed that this item be continued to the September 6, 1979
meeting.
