I. ROUTINE ORGANIZATION
A. ROLL CALL
Present: Mr. Marty Van Duyn, Planning Director
Ms. Sharon Wasko, Recording Secretary
II. PUBLIC HEARING
UP -283 - Richard F. Irion, 20160 Mendelsohn Lane, Request for Two -
Story Use Permit to Allow the Conversion of Existing Residence
Mr. Van Duyn opened the public hearing on UP -283 at 3:30 p.m., and ex-
plained the purpose and intent of the Two -Story Ordinance NS -3, ZC -73
to the individuals present. He made note that Staff had reviewed this
site, and pointed out that all basics of the Ordinance had been met
relative to this request. He further pointed out that a Staff Report
had been prepared recommending approval of this matter.
Present in the audience were: Mr. and Mrs. Richard Irion, and their
architect, Mr. Oscar E. Sohns; also, present to support granting of
this use permit were adjacent neighbors, Ms. Mary Mullins, 20141 Bonnie
Brae Way and Ms. Maria McClelland, 20171 Bonnie Brae Way.
Mr. Van Duyn elected to grant the request to permit a two -story con-
version to application UP -283 on the basis of Exhibit "A," the Staff
Report dated August 15, 1975, and providing there is no objection
from the public during the 10- day appeal period.
Mr. Van Duyn explained to the applicants that subsequent to this 10-
day appeal period with no objections from adjacent neighbors, plans
could be submitted to the Building Department and processed for a
Building Permit.
III. ADJOURNMENT
The Secretary closed the public hearing on UP -283 and adjourned the
meeting of August 18, 1975 at 3:40 p.m.
