I. ORGANIZATION

II. PUBLIC HEARING
A. UP -287 - George Breein, Franklin Avenue, Request for Use
Permit to Allow the Conversion of an Existing
Single- Family Structure to a Two -Story Structure
Mr. Burt, acting on behalf of the Planning Director, opened the
public hearing for UP -287 at 3:30 P.M. A letter of objection
had been received by the Planning Department from Mr. and Mrs.
Ditzler Bridges, 20352 Thelma Avenue. This was read into the
record. No other correspondence has been received, either in
favor of or in opposition to the proposed conversion.
It was explained to the applicant, Mr. Breein, that a condition
relative to the granting of this use permit would be that the
jalousie windows to be located at the rear of the addition
would be required to be of an obscure glass, i.e., frosted or
opaque. This is to insure that the privacy of the neighbors
to the rear of the applicant's residence would be maintained.
The applicant acknowledged his understanding of this condition.
After informing the applicant that ten (10) days pursuant to
the date of action, a building permit could be obtained, Mr.
Burt closed the public hearing for UP -287 at 3:40 p.m.
It was noted that the request for a Use Permit to allow the
conversion of an existing one -story structure to a two -story
structure was granted, subject to the Staff Report dated
September 29, 1975, Condition "1" of said Staff Report and
Exhibit "A".
III. ADJOURNMENT
Mr. Burt adjourned the meeting at 3:45 p.m.
