Accept Agenda Items: No additional items may be added pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2. Oral & Written Communication Any member of the public may address the Commission about any matter not on the agenda for this meeting for up to three minutes. Commissioners may not comment on the matter but may choose to place the topic on a future agenda. Approval of Draft Minutes May 12, 2016 TSC Meeting July 7, 2016- Public Safety Special Meeting Sheriff’s Report to the Commission Old Business 1. Traffic Matrix #344 Issue: Request for stop signs at La Paz/Aspesi and Casablanca/Myren by Ravi Sivakolundu, Dawn Murakami, Colleen Balough, and Chris Tar. In July 2015 the TSC heard this item and the traffic engineer recommended taking an incremental approach with directed enforcement, to review locations for inpavement warning speed signs, and to come back at a future date with data to determine future actions. More recently, an accident occurred at that neighborhood and residents are requesting a stop sign at the intersections mentioned above. Action: TSC will review and discuss data collected by the traffic engineer and make a recommendation. New Business 2. Traffic Matrix #365 Issue: Request for traffic calming methods at northwest corner of Saratoga Vista and Howen to reduce vehicles speeding by Geoff Bradley. Action: TSC will review and discuss data collected by the traffic engineer and make a recommendation. 3. Traffic Matrix #366 Issue: Request to remove the no right turn sign on McFarland and Cox and to allow vehicles to turn right into McFarland by Mike Erow. Action: TSC will review and discuss data collected by the traffic engineer and make a recommendation. 4. Traffic Matrix #367 Issue: Request for traffic calming methods at Saratoga Sunnyvale Road and Walnut by Rajiv Mathur. Action: TSC will review and discuss data collected by the traffic engineer and make a recommendation. 5. Traffic Matrix #368 Issue: Request for traffic calming methods to reduce speed on Sobey Road between Marshall Lane School and Quito Road by Nilesh Shah. Action: TSC will review and discuss data collected by the traffic engineer and make a recommendation. 6. Public Safety Presentation 7.
