AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA AND
THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION OF THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES'
RETIREMENT SYSTEM
The City Council of the City of Saratoga does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That an amendment to the contract between the Council of the City of Saratoga and the
Board of Administration, California Public Employees' Retirement System is hereby authorized, a copy of said
amendment being attached hereto, marked as an "Exhibit", and by such reference made a part hereof as though
herein set out in full.
SECTION 2. The Mayor of the City Council is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to execute
said amendment for an on behalf of the City of Saratoga.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption, and prior to
the expiration of 30 days from the passage thereof shall be published at least once in the Saratoga News, a
newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of Saratoga and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
The foregoing ordinance was introduced at the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga held
on the 7t' day of March 2012, and was adopted by the following vote following a second reading on the 4th of
April, 2012:
AYES: Council Member Manny Cappello, Emily Lo, Howard Miller, Vice Mayor Jill
Hunter, Mayor Chuck Page
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None
