JOINT MEETING WITH TRAFFIC SAFETY COMMISSION
Meeting Minutes
DATE: Thursday, May 13, 2010
TIME: 7:00 pm.
LOCATION: City of Saratoga Planning Offices, 13777 Fruitvale Avenue, Saratoga, CA 95070
1. Call to Order: Meeting called to order by the Chair at 7:00pm
2. Roll Call: Present: Stallman, Waltonsmith; Staff: Harvancik
Absent: Cosyn, Goldberg,
3. Report on Posting of the Agenda: Confirmed by staff.
4. Accept Agenda Items and Order: No changes
5. Approval of Minutes: Quorum not present, no action taken
6. Oral and Written Communication: None received
7. Staff Report:
- Lower Tank Trail repair – have funds to regrade entire Lower Tank Trail and
also Mt. Eden drainage problems
- Parker Ranch Trail to be sprayed for weeds the last week in May
8. Old Business:
- Changing Trails Committee Meeting time and/or day - Changed to 3rd Tuesday

- Move-It Saratoga Details on city web site – register on line
9. New Business: Trails Flyer - reviewed Move It featured trail maps – Orchard Village
and Parker Ranch loops
10. Reports:
- Pending trails updates Joe’s trail construction expected to be starting in 3 weeks
- Member reports Cupertino will install Bike Lanes on San Jose portion of De
Anza Blvd. May 22nd
11. JOINT MEETING WITH TRAFFIC SAFETY COMMISSION
Circulation Element - Committee members attended and provided input on trail element
12. Action Items Summary:
Suggested site visit to inspect Hakone Trail links to canyon upstream
