Meeting Minutes
DATE: Tuesday, January 17, 2017

1. Call to Order: Meeting called to order by the Chair at 4:00pm
2. Roll Call: Present: Stallman, Swan; City liaison Harvancik. Absent: Waltonsmith
3. Report on Posting of the Agenda: So done
4. Accept Agenda Items and Order: No change
5. Approval of Minutes: Minutes for October 18, 2016 meeting approved
6. Oral and Written Communication:
Inquiries concerning the following (now being taken care of by city crews):
• Hakone Trail fallen tree
• Path needed along new fence on Bohlman Rd.
Diane from the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition invited attendance at the upcoming
annual Silicon Valley Bikes Festival & Bicycle Show to be held May 7th
at San Jose

7. Old Business
• Blue Hills Safety Railroad Crossing update: 10% design submitted to UP &
CPUC
• Prospect Road Improvements update: Federal DOT authorization pending
• Anza Trail Certification: Agreement with NPS presently with City Attorney
• Garrod Trail connection to Parker Ranch Open Space: 3 easement
Agreements approved by City Council at their December meeting – new signs
going up
• Safe Routes to School Maps: Next step would be Traffic Safety Commission

8. Staff Report & Upcoming events:
• Weed abatement and clearing of fallen trees – work has taken place
• VTA Next Network – VTA bus changes will be on Feb 1 City Council

• Quito Bridge replacement – work will take place in 2018; Prospect Rd.
